Last Saturday, we kicked off our first Country Presentation and Social Gathering with a lively celebration of Congolese culture! Hosted by the wonderful Horcelie Sinda, 44 attendees were treated to an engaging presentation and Q&A highlighting the history and current topics of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The night was filled with music, dancing, and delicious food, from sweet to fiery flavors that brought a taste of DR Congo. The warmth and energy turned it into a truly memorable evening for everyone. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and our supporting organizations, Generation for Change CY, Bridge of Hope, and Mission Solidarity, for their exceptional support. Thank you for helping us make this event a success! A big thank you to the European Solidarity Corps for funding this event.
